Saying Hello to Your Heart is a 90-minute, live, online workshop exploring our awesome hearts. Our amazing hearts work so hard to take care of us!

Help support your body's ability to oxygenate and nourish themself by joining Dr. Kaeri for this virtual live 90-minute gathering to learn more about your amazing heart and explore ways to tend to them. It is important to honor our heart, and to be able to do that requires actually knowing our heart. This class is a moment of greeting, an opportunity to say, "hi," to your body, and a gentle opportunity to start a conversation with or invite a shift in how you connect with your body and your heart.

Kaeri Schaefer MD brings her experience as a functional and family medicine doctor, bodyworker and dancer as she gently and spaciously guides us during our time together. She believes as more people are able to find inner trust through increased understanding of their bodies, people will be able to hold each other with more spaciousness, care and trust.

While we gather, Kaeri will be introducing us to our hearts, guiding playful practices of body connection and celebrating your heart’s wisdom.

This class is for people

  • Who want to feel agency in their own healing journeys

  • Who are curious to learn more about their hearts in an honoring, spacious and trauma-aware way

  • Who feel ready to develop a deeper connection with their bodies and their hearts

  • Who want to increase their resilience as they navigate our rapidly changing world

"You’ve probably heard your heart described as a sort of pump, tireless and industrious. But you are so much more than a collection of parts, and you are certainly not a machine with a pump. The story of a heart as a tireless muscle is a story made for industry. Everything alive rests, and your heart is alive. Each heartbeat is composed of action, called systole, and rest, called diastole. The diastolic cycle of the heartbeat is longer than the systolic cycle. Your heart rests in every heartbeat, and every heartbeat is more rest than action. The heart rests. You can rest."

-Abigail Rose Clark, Returning Home to Our Bodies

Questions? If you are interested but still have questions, please email connect@healingliberation.net.

I intentionally choose to not have a social media presence, and have my offerings be shared through the mycelial networks of community and relational communication. If you think this workshop sounds valuable (whether or not it is aligned for you at this time), could you please share with a friend or two? It would mean the world to me to receive that type of support.

I truly believe, as more people re-acquaint themselves with their bodies, it will help more people feel safe, allowing more of us to connect with trust, kindness and resilience.
